We hire carefully .

Three co-founders, a handful of operators, a long list of people we've worked with but haven't hired. That's by design.

I.

Why selective.

We scale by saying no. Every person we hire shapes not just what we can do but who picks up the phone at 11pm when something is on fire. That is not a position we fill by raising a number; it is a decision we make three or four times a year, carefully.

II.

How hires happen.

Almost always through someone we have already worked with. A contractor becomes a collaborator becomes an operator becomes a team member — the path takes years, not rounds. We have never run a formal hiring funnel and do not plan to.

III.

What gets our attention.

Work you already shipped. Something you made because you wanted it to exist. A stance on a question you argued for, even when it was unpopular. A specific technical taste you can defend in writing. Résumés in the abstract, less so.
